Take a big step back in time to 1982..... You want a touring bike without the after market fairings etc. but a Goldwing was too big....and expensive, so Honda offered the shaft drive, water cooled GL500 Interstate with factory fairing, removable saddlebags and rear trunk all for..... 2598 I have the original bill of sale for this bike purchased 8/27/1984 for 2598. I have never seen a lower mileage Silverwing and have observed some of these selling for over 2500 in the last year with many, many, many more miles.
