Beautifully restored and uned BMW R26. This bike was purchased in Germany several years ago and went through a meticulous restoration at our own restoration shop last summer. There are less than 100 miles on the restoration and it is near flawless. The bike was completely disassembled to the bare frame and had any faulty or deteriorated components replaced including every nut and bolt using stainless steel hardware. Parts that were originally chrome were re-plated and or polished as necessary and the frame was checked for correct alignment by a professional motorcycle frame shop. The motor was professionally rebuilt by an outside machine shop specializing in vintage bikes and autos and the timing gear was updated with a chain tensioner. The bike starts immediately and rides very well. The original aluminum wheels were polished and reassembled professionally with stainless spokes, new hub bearings with properly set preload and new Heidenau tires.
