Lambretta Li3 Special 150 engine. Lambrettas were made in several countrys Italy , Spain,ect. this one is from Spain. It was purchased new from the local Lambretta dealer in Chicago in 1975, it was put away in a basement in Chicago in 1990 till this year , I woke it up after 20 yrs asleep. I went through the engine with new piston rings and a new crank seal, installed a sealed battery, painted it the original white using Dupont enamel with hardner and two tone it with a dark blue, and installed a matching seat, I installed new tires and tubes. Its a Special Serveta model which has a little more horse power than the regular Li3s. It runs great and starts first kick. Im in my 70s and worked at the local scooter dealer when I was a kid and still like to play with them, I dont ride them anymore but like to restore them.
