1973 Swiss Condor/Ducati A350 cc Military Motorcycle - This is a rare Swiss Condor dual purpose military messanger/escort motorcycle built in 1973. They built 500 a year for 3 years and so there are only 1500 bikes total. The frames are swiss built, the engines came from Ducati, and most components are off the shelf stuff from 1973. The bike is in very good condition and is in completely original condition. The bike is shod with Metzler sahara dual purpose tires that have a lot of tread left on them. Engine starts on first kick if its been run recently, and second kick if not. The only modifications I have made to this bike is changing from the huge monolithic 6v battery to a far superior and lighter 6v gel cell that is smaller, lighter, and has more capacity. I wouldnt say there is a big advantage to the weight reduction as this is an extremely sturdy motorcycle that reminds me of the 48 indian chief I used to have. I dont think this ducati would be helped with any carbon fibre fenders, etc. Heavy duty steel tube frame, points fired engine, and long wearing tires means this baby will still be running when they drop the big one. Or be a big help if you are Tom Cruise avoiding the martian invasion. An EMD pulse wont stop this jewel.
