"The Vespa GTV 250 utilizes the body and engine of the Vespa GTS while accentuating details from Vespa’s early designs. The headlamp is on the front mudguard, just as is was on the very first Vespa prototype. The handlebar, a simple, ‘’ metal tube on the very first Vespa prototype, makes a comeback on the GTV with a modern motorcycle-type look. As on the earliest Vespas, the GTV saddle is split into two distinct parts, one for the rider and one for the passenger. And underneath this classic design is a completely modern machine, with a dual rear shock absorber, two disk brakes, 12” wheels, and a 250cc engine."
