I bought this bike last year and fixed it up,I paid $3000 for it and put $1500 into it. $4500 total investment, not including labor.Back and wrist problems force me to sell and buy a cruiser that lets me sit upright. Runs good and tops out at 150mph (not that it ever saw that fast). You can buy another bike and spend 150$ on a chain and 350$ on tires which you can add $500 to the price up front or you can buy this bike and ride it all summer right off the bat with no out of pocket past buying it. I dropped the price from $4000 to $3500 because I have found a bike that I want for that price, once that bike sells the price will probably go back up to $4000
