2002 Kawasaki ZR-7S : Kawasaki in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Here is a 2002 Kawasaki ZR-7S. With a 738cc engine putting out 76 horsepower, it's a great first bike for someone who doesn't want to jump right onto an expensive and overpowering crotch-rocket. The inline 4 puts power to the rear wheel in a smooth fashion but has enough get-up-and-go to make riding fun for a novice and intermediate riders.

I have owned the bike since 2008. When I picked the bike up it had only 2300 miles on the odometer. Since then, I've only put another 2000 miles on the bike, for a total of around 4300 miles. Unfortunately, I was in an accident on the bike about 2 years ago. Because of the accident, I've had to repair the front end. The bike no longer has the front fairing, headlight, or gauge cluster. I've rideen the bike for the last year in a half with no mechanical problems. The new gauge cluster does act up a little bit thought, not displaying the correct speed. From what I've been told, it's would just take a new digital display cluster and wheel pick-up sensor, but I just don't have the time to fix it myself.

If you would like a good bike that hasn't been abused by being ridden hard, this is the bike for you.
