We’ve just made a few tweaks that we think will help your business. It’s not overwhelming, but still, we think it’ll help.
Many of you place quite a few ads every day. We love that. Fresh, unique and inspiring – those are the types of ads we love to see. Those are also the types of ads our visitors can really dive into to find the information they are looking for. There’s something missing though, and it’s been missing for quite some time. And that’s an overall picture of who “you” are.
When you place an ad, you fill in a few fields, such as title, description, some keywords, price, location, specific item webpage url and a few more things. That’s great for the individual item you are trying to promote, but what if someone wants to find out about you or your business as a whole? Well, that’s what we’re trying to help with.
To Update Your Business Information
Starting today, you can log into your account and click the “My Account” link in the top navigation bar. From there, you can click the “My Account Information” link in the left hand column. After that, you can click the “Edit My Info” button in the middle of the page.
On that page, you’ll see a few extra items you can fill in about yourself. You’ll see Company Name, First Name, Last Name, Phone Number and Website URL fields. First, fill in your current password (for verification that it’s really you) and then go ahead and enter your information. Also be sure to check the box next to “Expose in other ads.” When website visitors browse one of your ads and then click on the “Seller’s Classified Ads” link in the blue box, they will see a more of your information.
Tip: To quickly show people your inventory of ads on our website, place a link on your website or Facebook page to your listings page on our website. That way, everything is in one place and easy to see.
