This 1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead FL bike has been very well cared for. have been car/bike collectors. it runs and rides great with no known issues. I have decided it is time to let my beautifully Harley Davidson Knucklehead FL go. This bike runs perfect, Two full choke prime kicks when cold is all it takes to start it. Runs super smooth and straight. The FL Knucklehead featured a 1,200cc (74 cubic inches) OHV V-twin engine. It had a distinctive design with the "knucklehead" valve covers, which resembled a clenched fist, giving the engine its name. It had a unique overhead valve design with aluminum heads and a four-speed transmission. The engine was known for its smooth operation and excellent torque delivery torque, and smooth operation.
The FL Knucklehead came with a four-speed transmission, providing smooth shifting and reliable performance. The transmission was operated by a foot clutch and a hand-shift mechanism, As a vintage motorcycle owner, finding completely original parts for a 1947 Knucklehead is easy Over the years, However, there are still aftermarket manufacturers and vintage parts dealers who specialize in providing authentic or reproduction parts for classic Harley Davidson motorcycles. you can message me with any questions you may have and I will be happy to answer.
