To anyone interested in classic Hondas. This is a VERY clean and original 1972 CB450K5 with 2,700 original miles. This bike sat in the Green River Honda showroom for many years. It had only 1,611 miles when I obtained it in 2022. Like any older bike that has been sitting it needed some work to be road worthy again. The gas tank has been cleaned and interior sealed with 'Red Coat' polymer sealer. Oil change, valves adjusted, Carbs cleaned and rebuilt, synced and new throttle cables, new tubes & tires, upgraded to CDI ignition with new coils, wires and plugs, new voltage regulator/ballast resistor one piece unit, Rebuilt front caliper and master cylinder, fork seals and new Progressive springs and oil. If there's any questions regarding the quality of replacement parts they were purchased from The Common Motor Group in Huston TX. Their specialty is vintage Honda twins. I have all original ignition parts to restore to points if desired.
This bike can be a daily rider. It gets lots of looks and compliments wherever I take it and it received 2nd Place at the 2024 RICE-O-RAMA in Spencer, MA. There is a small dent on the left side of the gas tank. This existed when I bought the bike. I never attempted to remove it for fear of cracking the original paint. Other than items noted above this bike is all original and includes the owner's manual and original tool kit. The luggage rack is OEM for this bike however, I added it later.
