This 2010 Ducati 1198S is a Corse Special Edition model that spent time with the seller’s cousin in New York and New Jersey, and ownership passed to the seller in July 2024. Powered by a 1,198cc Testastretta Evoluzione L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission, the motorcycle is finished in black, red, and white with exposed aluminum on the fuel tank. It also features Marelli electronic fuel injection, a two-into-one-into-two exhaust system, Termignoni carbon-fiber mufflers, a single-sided aluminum swingarm, adjustable Öhlins suspension with a replacement rear spring, and triple disc brakes with Brembo front calipers as well as a monoposto tail section, a clear windscreen, carbon-fiber fenders, an STM GP EVO dry slipper clutch with a Rizoma partial clutch cover, and a side stand. Stopping power is provided by triple disc brakes, and radial-mount four-piston Brembo Monobloc calipers are fitted up front. The brake fluid was flushed in July 2024.
Clip-on handlebars are affixed beneath the upper triple clamp, which has a mounting point for the Öhlins piston-style steering damper. The Ducati Corse-branded digital dashboard features an arcing bar-style tachometer along with readouts for speed, ride mode, ambient temperature, coolant temperature, and time. The digital odometer indicates 1,900 miles, approximately 600 of which have been added under current ownership.
